Impact and Advocacy

ASTA is at the forefront of advocating on behalf of our school science educators. As a federation we advocate at the national, and state/territory levels, with advocacy at the state/territory level being undertaken by our member Science Teacher Associations.

Some of our recent national involvements have included the:

  • Review of the Foundation to Year 10 Australian Curriculum – Science, 2020/21
  • Quality Initial Teacher Education Review, 2021
